Relocated to the green grass of Essex to allow for expansion, and in turn, more demanding work, Will Barker set up The London Blacksmith in 2009 in West London; taking on commissions from restauranteurs, councils, and private clients keen to stand out in one of the most eclectic and diverse design hubs in the country.
With a growing workload and space for growth shrinking, The London Blacksmith relocated out to Essex in late 2015. With more room has come more opportunities to make stunning work, while also being able to grow the teaching side of the business; Will, having become passionate about passing on his knowledge to budding blacksmiths and also those who are looking for a more unconventional artistic experience.
The London Blacksmith offers courses that provide that opportunity at flexible times in a relaxed environment, allowing attendees to not only learn the basics of blacksmithing, but to also have a day to remember, with souvenirs to take home and keep.
